Well I'm sure you've tried iTMS but you think its too expensive. Thats pretty much your only option to download music for the mac.

Unless I'm missing something, there isn't a quick way to get back to the front page from the forums. After I read the posts on one story/topic, I often go back to the main page to look at other news. (I know that Safari has snapback, but sometimes I come directly to the forums from an e-mail notification instead of the main site).
btw, Happy New Year to All! And thank you Arn for updating the site and reading our comments even on holidays.

I used to have the same problem until I noticed the tiny type.
Unfortunately, there's no link to get back to the DailyTunes home page when you've crawled into the forums.

Wow. Let's hope it looks better than that diagram.
For real. It'd kinda suck not to have the touch click wheel we've seen on most of the mockups. I actually love some of those floating around more than whats dipicted here...
Which brings me to my other point, could people please stop making friggin' mockups??? They'll only make us disappointed when the real deal comes out

I was watching the iMovie 11 presentation and I'm just curious about predictions to FCP 8, especially the interface. We can be certain of the technical improvements in media management and power -- multi-core, 64 bit. But from iMovie 11 I see
1. Totally integrated visual sound editing, live with all the tools from Sound Track Pro. Who wants to go out to a sperate application. No need.
2. Which means proper titling software is truly built in
3. And of course effects are now much simpler to apply and preview. Perhaps the left hand window is completely context sensitive -- effects, sound editing, or source footage -- with the ability to edit in that window with dragging a selection area and cut into the timeline
4. Of course there will be some sort of realtime compression as you continue to work. And the compression engine will be completely overhauled.
DVD Studio Pro needs a complete overhaul too and should support blu-ray authoring. Perhaps the bag of hurt is coming to Lion :-) But burners will be Thunderbolt external only, making it of use primarily to content creators protecting Apple's Digital Download model. But at least thunderbolt is fast enough to allow for the fastest blu-ray burners.
Anyhow, some of these changes speak to the rumor of a more consumer version. It will be MORE powerful than iMovie 11, but include live effects and powerful sound editing without having to exit the application, much like iMovie. Of course media management (final cut server) will be vastly improved and integrated into this one version. Enjoy!

My question is, is it a worthwhile upgrade? or is it just better to leave it with the 2.4ghz and get a better hard drive.
Great question. Unfortunately you don't provide any information that would help us advise you. Since you're asking the question, it probably makes no difference at all.

My zoogue came in the mail yesterday. Just from holding it, it seems it is about the same weight as the iPad. Good quality all around.
The only complaint I have is that the cover is not held together by magnets. Meaning when I close it, it puts the iPad asleep, but if something bumps it and it moves 15 deg. or so and the iPad wakes up. Little magnets would prevent this.
This complaint is a very small one. Just make sure when you sit it down that it is closed properly.

I've been playing around with Handbrake for about a year now. Up until now I like it. I was using it to rip my DVD's to various formats for iTunes and the like. These DVD's don't come with a digital copy as some of them are quite old.
I was using the default settings for awhile and dealing with all the blockiness in the videos and thinking well this is just how its going to be. Even after changing some settings I noticed that there is distortion and blocks here and there etc etc. When playing Video back on iTunes its at its worst but VLC is good.
Recently Ive been trying to fix this issue and trying to figure out how to convert file types so that they have the same or the best possible quality as I change their format. Some movies look horrible, once they are converted from one format to another. Is there anybody who has alot of experience with this and would be willing to give some good advice?

Sony Ericsson have been making phones for years, they actually pretty much invented the touch screen smartphone market! This is an interesting concept they have been playing with for a very long time so don't be surprised. Will it be good? Of course it will, will it be successful? Who knows, will it be released? Not sure because the PSP2 is rumoured to be immensely powerful. Still it has a lot of potential and an Android handset made by SE with the Playstation brand behind it and proper game controls!! Yes please! Would I replace my iPhone 4 with one? oohhhhhhh now that's a question...
I have the first gen PSP, it was a Christmas present as I wanted one the first time I saw it and I'll never sell it, so not sure if I would get a PS phone.

I notice that the fingers in the diagram look small. A little research shows the average male index finger dip joint (last joint at the finger) is about 1cm long. Doing some quick calculations, assuming ANYTHING in the diagram is to scale, the device seems to be about 7" tall. The current Ipod is 4.1" tall. Also, the diagram shows the ability to add to playlist, which leads me to believe it is more than an ipod... perhaps I am completely wrong, of course
Are you insinuating something.....
perhaps that this is not an iPod after all, but rather an iTablet?

Bravo guys. Capitalism can be energizing but it only works if the majority of citizens bother to vote in leadership that looks out for all citizens, not favor a handful of the most well off citizens. It's our fault we keep electing bozos to Washington.

There are a couple members on there ranked as newbies - so they're not really all that active if they've been around for that long and have so few posts. But I guess it would indicate that they're at least visiting the site regularly.

Both cases have the stretching silicone problem. But the Neohybrid Matte has it worst. Also it does not cover the ports unless you buy the separate covers set.
How about the Neo Hybrid EX.
