Playing this on the iPad, and its awesome. First iOS touch-based music game that I find challenging and fun. Wouldn't want to play it on slower hardware or on a smaller screen though.

If you look at the buyers guide (the link is at the top right of this page) it says that the macbook is overdue for an update. I'm waiting for the update too, so hopefully it will be soon!

I dunno man, but for $200 more the 13" MBP is a much more solid machine than the MB (hence the value is there). The i5 CPU and graphics card are powerful enough for all the tasks you require and it's pretty much as portable as the MB.
However, if you have access to an iMac at home, then I agree with the post above that the MBA would be a pretty sweet pairing to that iMac. You can do all your content creation (music) and gaming on the iMac, while consuming content (videos, surfing, etc) on the MBA (while chilling on the couch or just about anywhere really). I don't believe that the MBA is powerful enough for heavy content creation, but it's display is very crisp and awesome for surfing and videos. The only downer is that the 13" MBA is way more expensive than both the 13" MB and MBP.
Now.. You mention iTunes.. If you are storing a heavy content load, then I wouldn't recommend the MBA, as the cool flash memory does not grant a lot of storage space unless you upgrade the capacity and that'll cost you a couple more bills.
IMO, as far as 13" Macs go, the BEST VALUE right now is the starting factory model MBP (Intel Core i5 2.3 Ghz CPU, 320 GB disk, and 4 GB of RAM).
Whatever you decide to go for, it'll be a sweet experience when switching from a Dell ;)

acearchie This shot really needed more light, to bring more detail into the shot.
I don't really get my comments? From my computer the subjects are well exposed and full of detail?

It says in my very first post. A 5K is a refurbished model at Apple.
Got that part, but what does it mean? Does the genius take a sharpie and write 5k across the screen or something

Hey guys, I have a jb iPod touch 4g, and I use te app checkpoints, but recently they removed the scanning ability for the 4th gem and made it exclusive to iPhone and android, leaving iPod and iPad owners in the cold. Is tree someway I can use cydia and or installous to make checkpoints think that I have a iPhone 4? Or can I use installous to get a previous version somehow? And I can't restore previous versions from recycle bin.. I emptied it a couple times now.

Does she like Kate Spade stuff? They have a few different cases, both hard shell and rubber that my wife has been switching between lately.
A warning careful about the Kate Spade, its addictive if your girl likes them. They keep indtroducing new cases, the bastards, and my wife just keeps having to have them. Now she's up to 4 hard shell and a rubber case. Add that to the 3 different Blackberry pouches she bought from them plus the 20 or so purses over the last few years and I nearly have a Kate Spade store in my closet! But hey, she can match her personal electronics protectors with her purses. ;)

I only just got the Wii. :( Should I have listened to IGN when they kept claiming the Wii is dead?
The price just dropped to $170 - should be the sign...
EDIT: Actually the price is supposed to go down to $150 on May 15:

It's a fun system - and I managed to get some GameCube Wavebird Controllers and it makes a great Wireless Nintendo System!
I posted this over on eurogamer earlier...
The thing is that I tried someone's 3DS with that AR game - BOY WAS THAT A BLAST! (Who needs the launch games?)
It was fun watching things appear on your table and your environment doing weird things - all in 3D.
Actually, turning off the 3D the graphics are still pretty good.
Hopefully going to get some Black Friday deals on a 3DS - will be the hottest thing this 2011 Holiday Season... ;)

I guess real estate under the ocean became too expensive and they decided to lease air-rights instead.

Ok...so I think this is my final setup. I feel like maybe there is too much redundancy (like, can't I get rid of Disk 2 all together since Disk 6 and 7 already are clones?). But maybe there is no such thing as too much? These drives have the last 5+ years of work on them...if the disks went bad, or were stolen/fire/etc...we would be royally screwed.
Disk 6 and Disk 7 would be rotated off-site.

Macs are very picky about booting from legacy OSes (read Windows) on USB. Most of the time it will not work even with rEFIt.
Either burn it to an optical disc and use that, or look for the "without super drive" thread to find instructions on how to do it using VM software or creating a bootable partition on your internal drive.
