you don't need to have cablevision subscription to use this? i.e. being a customer
You do have to have an account, therefor a customer is required. OR if you have friends/family and you could use their account.

for me it's in PS Elements, but the one used the most, and thus my personal favorite, is the Melancholytron filter. It has so many variables, a good preview screen and is totally reversible from the Edit menu.
The effects can go from subtle (for example, a slight vignette of edges) to sepia toning. It's a great filter when not overdone, and when overdone if you want to!

It depends on how you're running the vm, full screen, coherence, etc. From full screen you hit control+option and click on the devices menu at the top then scroll down to CD/DVD1, that'll open a menu to the side and click on default CD/DVD. That will connect the disc drive to the vm, just remember to disconnect it when you're done.
Ahh great that worked thanks :D

Shouldn't they pay more since they are capable?
Hardly. They should pay more because they owe more. You do not just become a billionaire out of the blue. You do not become a billionaire because of you sweat and hard work. You become a billionaire by working the system. You owe society for providing the opportunity to you, for facilitating your progress, and for helping you protect what you have.
But, you say, when was the last time a poor person created a job for you (or anyone else)? I reply, "Was it a poor person that downsized me, laid me off, shipped my job to Mindinao?"
There is a video that the OP links to now and then, directly or indirectly, in which the speaker asserts that "bastardliness" is a natural human condition, that (his kind) accept this fact and try to work with it. Well I have met poor people and well-to-do people, and when it comes to being nice and kind and helpful and generous, guess which group comes out ahead, hands down? "Natural human bastardliness" is not only not universal, it has a cause (which I think is even mentioned in that bible thing).

I should have taken the day off on Friday so I could have left Thursday afternoon. I read about the good time you guys had in the paper on Saturday.
What did you read and where?
Who knew waiting could be so fun?
Whenever the iPad 3 comes out, I might show up 24+ hours in advance as well just to have a good time.
I'll wait with you.

This has not really been the case, though. When VHS was replaced by DVD, you didn't get the new media for free. Being locked into a particular platform occurs all the time--toner cartridges for printers aren't standardized, for example. I can't use Comcast's on demand to buy programs, then switch to DirecTV and have them transferred. When I buy the latest video game, it doesn't come packaged with PS2, PC, Mac, and XBOX versions.
See the theme? If you choose a limited hardware platform, you must accept the constraints of that platform. CDs are universal because the standard was universal (Sony, Philips, etc. formed a consortium from the get-go)--multiple manufacturers make CD players. Here, the content is the same but the packaging is different--cassette, CD, M4A. Only Apple makes M4A players.
By purchasing a song from iTunes, you are receiving the file with limitations. The reason for the price is bundling. If you want a product with no restrictions, which you want to use to the fullest extent of fair use (or beyond, if you so choose), you have to look elsewhere. You're not being denied fair use when you rent a movie on VHS for $2 when the DVD rental is $4...and you don't get to rent the VHS, then make a DVD just to save $2. Likewise, you're not paying for an unrestricted copy of the song on iTunes, and you aren't entitled to treat it as such using "fair use" as an excuse.
If you want unencumbered music, pay for the CD. If you want instant gratification and a lower price, then be an adult and accept the DRM. The option you want is out there and legally available--it's just that CDs are a "bad value." Likewise, iTunes tracks are probably a "bad value" to many people who think 99 cents should entitle them to DRM-free files. Should DRMed digital files be cheaper? I think so. But that's no excuse to go beyond the clear and publicized terms of my payment.
Nobody wants to buy things twice, but that's no excuse. I have piles of spare tools that fit cars I no longer own; toner cartridges for printers I no longer own; memory cards for cameras I no longer own; and floppy disks for computers I no longer own. Each time I switch companies, I have to deal with the consequences of my prior purchases.
Bravo Bravo Bravo my friend!;)

Do US carriers offer a similar unlock service does one always have to go 3rd party.(might as well jailbreak while your at it, to further enjoy your $170 spend)
ATT does not offer unlocks for the iPhone 4. That is why we're willing to pay $170 for it. And yes, I have my phone jailbroken as well.

I worked the show yesterday and I swear on the way to the restroom or getting something to eat I saw a few people with Intuit shirts walking in the other direction. So they had a booth somewhere.

Try the tips here: http://conzone.com/blog/2009/12/mating-a-dell-1110-laser-printer-and-mac-osx/
Never used that printer, so I can't vouch for the solution there, but it looks like good suggestions.

I say air but I'm crazy over mine. It allows me to take all my stuff everywhere I go, and it's light weight. If I want to play games or need a big screen for computer drafting, I just use an external monitor.
I was in engineering school so we done a lot of group work at school. The air allow me to take all my work plus software needed for school. Yes, you can use dropbox for files but not programs.
For me, portability was a must. However, your needs may be different than mine. Your asked for opinions, so I vote for the air.

for me it still loads Apple front web page, but it does stay iphone.org
Not sure if it did it before, but that is a fairly normal thing. There would be no reason to change it before hand if something was in the near future. These things can be changed on the fly. Probably meaningless.

Sorry to hear that. I really liked the Zune HD interface but MS never created something like the iTune Store. I have seen it in the wild at the university and the interface was actually nice and did things that I wish the iOS would do.
The Zune HD was sweet looking but MS really dropped the ball when they did not put effort into games on it. What I find strange is they are killing the Zune but bringing out a phone interface that mimics the Zune .
You would think that they could integrate the Zune HD their Phone 7 and Xbox to make something like what Apple has done but NO:rolleyes: that would be just way to out there for MS.

- iTunes 7 will confirm if you wish to re-download content, and has a backup utility for backing up your library. Also introduced is a feature called "skip count" which tells you how often you have skipped a song.
This is not new to iTunes 7. This has been in iTunes since practically version 4. Where did you get the idea that this was a new feature?
BTW, the iPod software update 1.2 for video iPods does not appear to give the new Advanced Search function to older 5G iPods.
no one seems to be pointing out that they got rid of educational pricing for iPods... that's a bummer.
It's not really that much of a bummer. The max discount you ever got was $30 (I think, not sure if you got more for a $399 model), but with the new models, Apple discounted the highest iPods by $50 instead. So if you buy at full price, you're still paying less than you would have with the educational discount previously.
I don't think the shuffles ever had special educational pricing, and I'm not sure the nanos ever did either.

-Addition of additional color (light blue), which makes 4 (red, tan, white, and now blue)

Hells to the yeah. Only in AAPL since around 330, from around January, but a profit of well over the price of a fully loaded Mac Book Pro makes me one happy person :D :D Only wish I could have gotten in sooner. I know people who are practically wiping their bums with 100 dollar bills thanks to apple stock.
Now for the earnings party :apple: Free apple martinis on me:cool:

What different types can a subscript be? For example, when I was learning BASIC (we use stone knives and bearskins in those days), and expression like "A(X)", where A was the array and X was the index, was verbalized as "A sub X". X was the subscript.
