None of those suggestions work. No matter what I do, I still get that error. Like I said.
It happenes with XCode 3, XCode 4, all compilers that I can choose, all iOS versions, etc.
I'm starting to think that they put some hardware in the new macbooks that they didn't test and isn't compatible with OpenGL ES.

I agree with everything Talmy has said apart from the resolution. It isnt low resolution. In comparison to a 27" ACD, or 27" Dell Ultrasharp, yeh ok then its low. but Full HD resolution is good enough for you uses. I know an entire Design Company using AutoCAD and Alias, there isnt a single monitor there with better resolution than Full HD because they dont need it!!
For that price its pretty good!!

When you're just starting out you'll take a lot of pictures, and I mean a lot. But over time once you learn your camera and photographic techniques that you like, you'll be able to get that 'perfect shot' with just one, so you won't be taking half as many pictures and that will take half as much space. (This is coming from a guy who took 7400 pictures in just two weeks in NYC and Washington DC).
That may be true, about taking fewer photos - but I've found that as the number of kept pictures goes down, the size of each image goes up as the camera gets better. I'm up to a 39 MP system now (and good heavens, I can't see any reason why I will every need anything bigger) that expands into TIF files of 200MB each, iirc. Looking at a serious expansion of storage, and of course the backups that go with that.

That clear-case Newton "Cadillac" is pretty damn cool. I have two Clear case Newton 110s, and it would be nice to add to the collection. I cannot afford the $2400 price tag though. I wonder if it's possible to even get the unit working. It looks like this might have a backlit display, don't know if it's color or black and white. Pretty interesting looking piece of equipment.

This will be correct unless the nokia JV with microsoft saves the day for windows mobile
Rumor has it that MS will go dormant (if it hasn't already) and introduce windows 8 with Nokia.
With apple having Lion OS being very similar to iOS (a single iOS on phone and PC), Microsoft might go the same way for their mobile device (making it the same or even closer with windows 8 & windows mobile 8 (or worse windows mobile 7.5 and windows 8) but one OS aka Apple
There have been several leaks of Windows 8 recently, and yes, it looks like it is incorporating aspects of the 'Metro' design into the Windows UI.
With even talk of a Windows Metro UI to replace the toned down 'Windows Basic' UI that runs on low specced machines.

I run hte BOINC manager on my pismo pretty much all the time. It's slow, but that doesnt bother me
Same here. I use BOINC Menubar (http://boinc.berkeley.edu/menubar.php), which divides CPU time between whichever ones you use. I run SETI@home, Predictor@home (http://predictor.scripps.edu/), and Einstein@home (http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/). That's in addition to using the Electric Sheep screensaver.
So don't limit yourself to just one distributed computing project, use BOINC (http://boinc.berkeley.edu/index.php)!

Anyone else know why the scroll bar in the diagram is on the left? Should'nt it be on the right hand side of the screen?
Because the bevel on the right size is used for item selection.

That's an awesome resource. Unfortunately, it's linking to movies from sites around the net, which means if they go down the site will have broken links. But its a good way to solve the bandwidth problems with such a site...

It would be better if Apple concentrated on getting IPTC metadata stored in the picture file itself and made iPhoto aware that IPTC comments etc. actually existed. currently Mac OS X and iPhoto are somewhat retarded in their ability (i.e. inability) to handle this type of info.
I certainly would find that more useful than Google maps integration.

I imagine it happening like that episode of the simpsons where lisa makes that new doll and everyone's excited and everything then as all the children run towards the display of dolls. WHOOSH! The sheet is pulled of a shiny display of brand new Malibu Stacy dolls, now with trendy new hat!
Just replace the Lisa doll with the Zune and Malibu Stacy with hat with a brand new Widesreen, touch sensitive iPod.....with hat lol :D

I also read that the Quad's failure rating is around 1 percent compared to the dual 2.5 from 2004 and dual 2.7 from early 2005 - am I correct?
Not correct at all. Even the most reliable G5 ever (dual 2.3) has a failure rate of 11%. The worst is the first gen. dual 2.0GHz at 32%. No G5 model could ever even dream of having a single digit failure rate.
G5 tower reliability research results based on actual Apple service records (http://www.macintouch.com/reliability/pmg5.html)

Hi there and thanks for your reply,
I have acquired all of my music via legal means, (and I mean in the thousands). I understand that if I get more than 10 listeners at any given time I simply won't continue to broadcast. I am literally testing the water, however I appreciate your concern.
I will bear this in mind. Thanks again :)
