I apologise if I'm breaking your "rules" but I,m talking about the divide between charity i.e. helping those that are in dire need of help, they receive around 10% of U.S. charitable donations and the self serving tax racket with which the rich provide for them and theirs, the other 90%.In your somewhat confusing posts it appears it's OK to give to your own economic class for selfish reasons but not apparently to vote for a government which will pass legislation favouring your economic class. Incidentally by talking of lower and middle classes you are referring to social class not as should be apparent to most people economic classes. Also please refrain from quoting a romantic novelist in what should be a serious discussion.
I'm an individualist, I don't believe in 'social' classes, and use economic classes in general discourse only because it's useful in political discussion to be able to use generalizations in order to make conversation efficient and worthwhile. I believe individuals in a healthy free market generally determine their own fate.
I'd be interested in hearing more about your 90% vs. 10% numbers. Can you provide sources and clarify your position?

Heat shouldn't be a problem, the 6600 is a very weak GPU. Even the current Mac Mini's GPU is twice as powerful.

Hmmm... now that you mentioned it, I don't think it has any jumper pins in it. I pulled it from an old Tivo box. What jumper does it need to have if I already have my main drive on SCSI?

So the article mentions backing up your Library as a new feature included in iTunes 7. I don't really see it anywhere, anyone know what they're talking about?
Obviously I could just copy the library and folder myself (since I keep the library consolidated), but it would be nice to know how to do this directly from iTunes.
See this (http://www.tuaw.com/2006/09/12/how-to-back-up-your-music-using-itunes-7/)

Does your iMac have a CD-burner? Ejection is the normal behaviour of a CD-ROM-only drive when blank writable media is inserted.

Actually I think that all intel macbooks ( including pro) 's airport card is 802.11g and draft N... the problem is that they cant advertise it, because n is still in draft status at IEEE... so you can't really say hey this is an N... because N doesn't really exist as a satandard ( making a standard is a lenghty process takes about 5 to 6 years for the whole process...) if anyone has a draft n wifi router, please try and check the conection speed on you mactel macbook.. would be good to know if this is just a rumor, or if its really a fact.. i know i read it before buying my blackbook.. but alas.. i dont have a n draft router...
When the Airport Extreme came out it was before G was approved, they later flashed it up to the standard because it was close.
There are many Pre-N routers out there. All you have to say is 'Pre-N' and you're good to go.

Looks nice, and more importantly, it's standards-based. I'm glad to see MacRumors standing in the XHTML/CSS camp.

Interesting indeed, I would love for the two companies to be in bed together... Interesting things for consumers might result. I see T-Mobile as a fresh alternative to Cingular... Plus, T-Mobile could use better designed phones, who better to hook them up with some Innovative ideas?;)

If you're interested in random people's music libraries, why not go through a few last.fm profiles instead ?

One of the things I've always liked about higher res monitors is that my palettes and toolbars are very small. Thus I can fit more palettes on the screen at one time and not have them get in the way.
I hope resolution independence doesn't make my palettes huge, like they look on lower res monitors.

Thanks for that. The teacher likes to toss in trick questions and I almost want to say this question is TRUE except for the part that says "Subscripts may be of different types as long as they are ordered." Even if Subscripts are of a different type that is not going to effect the array type. If they are ordered the array will still be initialized, right?
That is not giving away the answer, but I am leaning towards True as the result for the answer for the question.

Ridiculously cool. A lot of the design elements seems very Apple-like - I hope I will be able to use these products in my lifetime.

Seems 9.5mm is still the maximum height: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/mac-mini/
yes, as someone who has done about two dozen hard drive upgrades on the newest gen mac mini's 9.5 mm is the spec.
750GB is the highest you will be able to go. A 750GB 7200RPM drive should set you back $100 - $110
