I'm not a huge fan of her work, and I think she was way overrated when she first started getting built - but I have to admit she is picking up her game every year. This looks like a nice project.

I have a similar setup at home including an airport extreme. I did try connecting the hard drives to the USB port on the airport and sharing them to the Mac Mini but found problems with it. It kept having the hard drives going to sleep and then the MAC Mini could not wake them up when it tried to access them.
I ended up giving up on that method and attached the drives to the MAC Mini directly. This lets the MAC Mini act as the server sharing the contents of the drives and the sleep issue is no longer a problem. Of course this would be necessary in order to use iTunes home sharing to the IOS devices since you can't do that from the Airport Extreme to the best of my knowledge.
As for cloning the drives, you might try Carbon Copy Cloner which can be setup to do this for you and it is donation ware. Just use Google to look for disk cloning in OSX and you will find CCC and some other options you may want to consider.

Can I ask why you recommend 2 x 1 TB in RAID instead of simply going out and grabbing a 2TB drive? Cheaper? Faster? Sorry, forgive the ignorance...

Well since I was working 3rd shift during that time I had just gone to bed. When I woke up around 2PM I didn't even turn on my TV since I had to be at my second job at 3:00 that day. So as I'm on my way to work I had to go near the Buffalo airport and noticed that it was really quiet so I turned on my radio (started with a cd and never knew what happened) and heard what was going on. Total shock or more disbelief what had happened when I was sleeping. It was about half an hour later at work when I looked and all my clients had canceled that day and the next. The thing that got me was none of my family called me to let me know what was going on (just moved into my new and first house) so the whole thing was a very surreal feeling that day and night to say the least.

Would an InvisibleShield be better than a case for the 4th Gen iPod touch? I only want the back to not get scratched (at all) and the front not to crack if I drop it.
If it isn't, then what case would you reccomend

This is a total no-brainer. T-Mobile doesn't have it's own network, it rents its airtime from Cingular... Apple and Cingular are already in bed. It's a trickle-down effect... T-Mobile wants their own iPhone. Not surprising, really. (and yeah, release the Cracken! (err.. iPhone!)...
T-Mobile is an independent network. It and Cingular have rented infrastructure to one another at various times in the past to mutually help with each other's coverage, but T-Mobile is a real mobile phone operator. (It's what used to be Voicestream.)
I'm not entirely sure why people keep propogating this myth. It makes no sense on the face of it.

I'm not sure, if you check around there are some other threads about this topic, you might want to check w/ Dell or Viewsonic too.
Sometimes you hear about blurring issues when people use LCD monitors as TVs, I don't know if it's a refresh rate issue but on my Dad's 19" Sony LCD w/ a PC tv tuner card the image is alright but nothing spectacular.

I'm hoping for a new, thinner, LED-backlit ACD with Ir and iSight, and HDMI...which I'm also hoping will be an option on the next-gen Mac Pro...which I'm hoping will be smaller (at least around the size of my trusty Quicksilver). I will then gladly purchase both.
That's a lot of hoping. Too much to ask for? Apple, are you listening? :-)
Oh, and WWDC sounds logical for this non-consumer setup to be announced.

If someone had a great idea about how Finder should look and work, it might be improved. However, since the plumbing is behind the scenes and that's been re-done a lot, it wouldn't help to simply re-route it again.
Well, it's still the most annoying, continuous issue with OSX. Steve keeps saying it has finally been improved, but it still sucks. :p
Remember when they released the Finder with the side panel on the left side? Man, where were we without that? I can't even remember how bad Finder was in 10.2.x :o

And in Perl, you can run this directly from Mac OS X Terminal:
perl -e '$j = 0.2; $k = 6; for ($i = 0; $i < 30; $i++) { $j = $k * $j - 1; print $j . " "; }'
It is just one of a handful of ways that show that if you don't think when you program a function then you can end up with something that doesn't work simply because of limitations within floating point units within computers today. One solution is to use decimal mathematics for decimal numbers (the other being to think about your algorithm to increase numerical accuracy). This is quite slow (relatively) on processors without decimal hardware, however the forthcoming Power6 does incorporate a decimal mathematics unit, that can handle 36 digit numbers according to the new IEEE 754R standard:

I dont know. Personally, it would be like spam to me. I wouldnt like it. Even if I signed up for it. I would rather it be a link to me. Plus, of course, if you have people like me that do plain text email only.
I just thought a link would be less invasive.
Guess, I am changing the context of the post....just what I was thinking though.

Also, to anyone who wants to set up this VPN on a Mac but doesn't have Leopard or above (which EasyVPN requires), you can set this up in Tiger (10.4) using iVPN. It's simple and mostly the same as the guide by the OP, but slightly different. Feel free to reach out to me if you are on Tiger and want help setting it up with iVPN.
