Ten Technologies announced a bluetooth-based system that loosely does what you want, although you're not going to be able to get very far from your stereo. And it isn't available yet. :(

I think your biggest problem is going to be *sending* a signal from the iPod, not receiving it.... Unless you're willing to go with an FM transmitter, which I'm assuming you're not, right?

Okay, here is an update:
I spliced wires to match the mac motherboard connector, and the addition of an 24V adaptor to power the 25V line for the Apple ADC video. see an image of the FrankenPSU here (http://www.systemdisc.com/workarea.jpg)
I flipped on the power strip switch, powering the PS (pin 14 shorted) and the ac adaptor. The fan on the CPU spins, and a motherboard light powers on. The hard disk, however, will not start up with the motherboard connected. Also there is no video output.
I know my voltages for each connector pin are correct, but I have not checked current or paid any attention to rails. I don't know which Mac pin needs an independent +3.3V, for example, and which ATX wires provides it.
I wish I could post on xlr8yourmac, but the forums are closed to new users for some reason.

Agreed, but the latest nano is pretty poor, was surprised, seems very unapple-like. There is room for a good ultra portable small music player (gyms etc, I see so many ipods) and for them to please, please make a good quality headphone as standard, the ones that come with ipods (of any price) is pathetic. So, let's see what they do.
I bought a new nano specifically for the gym, I have a 160gb Classic that stays in my car, and an iPhone. Still love the dedicated for music iPods.

Does this mean the iPad 2 is more popular than the Galaxy tab in Korea?

Wait if you can. Should possibly see a refresh around the time the iMac gets updated. Since it's for next school year, you have time.

So that means it's Higher & Further Education only?
Quite possibly. Does your friend know any students? ;)

I'd change the hard drive out too. I've bought six G3 iMacs in the last few years and the hard drive of every one has died after a few months of proper use if it wasn't dead already.
Give it a speedy 80-120gb drive and 512mb of RAM and it'll speed up to no end. They're still very usable computers!

It's not free, but I've used Virtual ][ (http://www.virtualii.com/) and it works great. Huge amount of features, and it's pretty easy too.

I suggest that you install tinyumbrella, and run it. It will back up your SHSH blobs and show you what options you actually have....

I like easter eggs.
Bungie has a lot of them, especially sneaking and integrating the number 7 into the content of the Halo series. If you've finished Halo: Reach, you know what I'm talking about.
I was playing around in Forge today and I dropped a soccer ball. I could see it had a barcode with numbers on it. Here are the numbers:

Could be something, could be nothing. Let's discuss easter eggs in the Halo series here.

Came across this article today.

There's a big difference in both read and write speeds.

Make that touch-sensitive bezel out of black anodised aluminium and you'd have a top notch product.

Apple has chosen to use the radeon 9000 because it is $70 vs $125.
The new radeon 9K's are a very cheap chard because ATI has integrated many
of it functions on to one chip. The 150 dollars that ATI quotes for the
price of the 9000 pro is just a special price for us mac users.

Hi,
I just bought an iPhone 4, and was looking for a nice wallpaper. Then I saw the default surfing wallpaper, it looked nice to me and I setted it as wallpaper. I also did this for my iPad, now I want it too for my MBP 13''. So I moved the wallpaper from my iPad to my Mac, but it looks horrible as the resolution is 1024 x 704. My Mac's resolution is 1280 x 800. It just doesn't look nice. So in iPhoto I resized it to 1280 x 800 but it still doesn't look nice. I dont' have Photoshop, but I know with Photoshop you can do almost everything with a picture. So can you 'master photoshoppers' please resize the image to
1280 x 800 without pixelization, as I'm almost certain that is possible in Photoshop.
Thanks

I just got a new iPod at the Apple Center in Beijing, and am extremely happy with it. I got the 30GB model because it was the only one available--the rest were sold out The people in the store told me that it wasn't just their store that didn't have them, apparently Apple China is completely out of stock.
As happy as I am with the iPod, I am running to a small problem, and I wonder if anybody can help.
My iPod's hard drive is bigger than the 10GB drive on my iBook. I outgrew the 10GBs a long time ago, and purchased an external hard drive to deal with the overflow. All of my music is on the external drive, which has a nastily loud fan.
What I'd like to do is stop using the external drive to store my music, and just use the iPod. Does anyone know if this is possible? I can't figure out how to make it work.
